My journey into financial services began when my future wife and I were planning our marriage and looking to hire a financial advisor. During my research, I thought, "I can do this!" However, I quickly discovered that effective financial planning required complete dedication, so I decided to pursue it as my career.
My varied background and experience have provided me with a diverse toolbox that helps me construct effective outside-the-box solutions that most clients have never encountered before. I leverage my network of industry experts and specialists to create a comprehensive wealth management team for my clients.
What I find most interesting about working with clients is hearing their life stories and learning where they came from, how they got to where they are, and where they plan to go. I learn from every interaction, which makes me better at what I do.
I grew up on the South Shore of Massachusetts and now live in Plymouth, a beautiful, historic coastal New England town. After 25 years in New Hampshire, I returned as an empty nester because I missed the ocean. My background includes serving as a Combat Medic/Nurse in the US Army, where I attained the rank of Sergeant. My childhood involved competitive ice hockey and working on sportfishing boats during summers, where I met my future wife on sunset cruises.
Today, I have two adult sons I'm very proud of. I share my life with my childhood sweetheart, who is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and owns a feline-only clinic in Plymouth. I stay active through self-defense training and still play hockey, enjoying the surprise on younger players' faces when they realize I'm two to three times their age. We enjoy travel, boating, motorcycling, aviation, and music - she plays piano while I play guitar.
I'm actively involved in my community as a member of the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce, the American Legion Post 40, and our local church. This community engagement reflects my commitment to service that began during my military years and continues through my work helping clients achieve their financial goals.
